Shadiah Lahham was born and raised in Ruckersville, Virginia, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Being in and around nature has always been a large part of her life. Since she moved to Richmond, VA for school, she has tried to incorporate the wilderness in her work as often as possible. Shadiah is now completing her senior year in the department of Communication Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University and aspires to work as an editorial illustrator.
